Fast paced, forward moving company based in Enfield needs an experienced multi skilled engineer. As a multi skilled maintenance engineer you will be working in a very busy Printing factory. Hours are Monday to Friday approx 08:00 – 18:00 with some flexibility. The salary will be between £28k to £34k dependent on experience. This job offers excellent skills and career progression for the right person.

As a multi skilled engineer you will need proven experience working with: mechanics; electrical power – single and 3 phase; electronic drive systems air compressors and pneumatic drives. The job requires a strong mix of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic skills. Appropriate qualifications will be advantageous but not a necessity. Also any skills in general building maintenance would be a plus. This is a very hands on reactive role that will require a lot of energy.

If successful in your application as a multi skilled engineer you will be working to develop a new proactive maintenance schedule moving away from the current predominantly reactive maintenance system. You will also be involved in improving the plant and stores administration.

For this position as multi skilled maintenance engineer you will need effective time management and work scheduling skills as much of your time you will be working unsupervised. Also you will need efficient workshop and stores management skills and be confident in using computer based work schedule reporting systems.

As a multi skilled engineer you will be liaising with the company’s house keeping manager helping to source materials and services and be part of the development of all PPM procedures for the future.
